With The Consumer Goods Forum’s global reach, CEO leadership and focus on retailer – manufacturer collaboration, they are in a unique position to drive positive change and help address key challenges impacting the industry, including environmental and social sustainability, health, food safety and product data accuracy. They do so for the benefit of both people and the planet, as well as their businesses, ensuring ‘better lives through better business’.
The Consumer Goods Forum provide critical implementation support to their members, equipping them with the skills and tools to meet CFG commitments and they regularly engage with key stakeholders, collaborating with a variety of different actors with shared collective goals. They also provide a platform for networking and best practice sharing across the consumer goods industry and beyond.
The mission of the Consumer Goods Forum’s environmentally sustainable work is to position the consumer goods industry as a leader in tackling climate change, reducing waste and improving environmental stewardship in global supply chains. Their work seeks to align the industry on how to move forward together in a way that shows how responsible business actions make for good business. They engage and work with governments, NGOs and other key stakeholders to drive progress towards broader international goals, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and seek to create partnerships that drive positive change.
