Science Based Targets (SBTs) Webinar Learning Series

Bord Bia is delighted to announce a series of five webinars designed to enable Origin Green members to take the next steps on their sustainability journey by setting Science Based Targets (SBTs).

Science Based Targets (SBTs) are fast becoming the “quality label” of climate action and are critical for Irish food, drink and horticulture companies to demonstrate credibility to their customers, investors, employees, and regulators. However, the process for setting SBTs can be complex, and delivery on them can be challenging for teams with limited capacity. The methodologies, standards and solutions for setting and delivering on SBTs are evolving, requiring frequent review by food, drink and horticulture companies.

Bord Bia have partnered with Accenture to deliver this unique series of virtual learnings. This interactive webinar learning series will guide Origin Green member companies through the process of setting and delivering on SBTs and will also help members understand how to effectively communicate these targets to the market and their stakeholders.

This webinar series is designed to accelerate Origin Green members’ development and validation of SBTs and ultimately take the carbon action which the market is demanding.
